Hope they dont do a lot of travle.

AT&Ts network is spotty, BAD.

Look at all the Roaming they have out West. and have Roaming on every state almost.
The Striped is roaming.

Ill laugh when the Alltel/Verizon merge is done and they switch over to Verizon.

Remember, Verizon supports both CDMA/GSM cells.

so you get 2 times the service as you would with a GSM only cell.
haha! 😁
too bad the fcc wont approve the full merger. verizon must divest at least 12 markets and alot of them are in the west. at&t is the frontrunner to pick up those markets. so you have fun with that.

Great features for seniors EXCEPT...

It's a DUAL-BAND PHONE???

This phones got GPS, a panic button, live operator concierge, ability to upload Medical Records to Hop-On and large keys for the old folks....Why on earth would they have all that and only make it dual band?

They obviously didn't do much research on the activities that seniors do....which a HUGE one is TRAVELING! Cruises, Vacations to europe and asia. WOW! That's a huge oversight in my opinion. Plus, it's not like most seniors will know that it won't work oversees and will rely on it to possibly save their lives.
Yeah! "Help I've fallin' and I can't get up or... a signal!" 😳 😁
...
I would agree that Seniors travel a great deal, but only the most affluent will be going out of the country... and most of them have Blackberries :-p.

Jim
i think this phone is made for the older seniors that can move around town but shouldnt leave the country.
I think they are missing one thing that everyone overlooks in gsm. HEARING AID COMPATIBLITY. Some of us wear 2 hearig aids. It woul be great if gsm had an M4 rated hearing aid compatiblity phone.
