99 percent of the time the 4 digit code is the last 4 digits of your phone number.

Help with Deletion?!

When you select Messaging, you have the options of Voicemail, Send Messages, Messages, Email, and IM. If you click Send Messages to prepare a text, you are presented with a list of recently texted contacts. How do you delete that list? I'm not stupid, I've tried several ways; I thought 'reset envelope' under the Home section would do it but it didn't. There has to be a way to delete that list of texted addresses, anybody know what it is?
call customer service
Go to Menu/settings, then go to either reset or security (it will ask for a lock code, usually the last four of your phone number). This menu will allow you to wipe out files from your phone.

I cannot get pics from my phone to my FB. Instead of the actual pic showing up on FB, there will be a link to click on to see the pic...Grrrrr.

Half Duplex Speaker phone?

I always likes Sanyo's phones when Sprint carried these years ago, but the "half duplex speakerphone" was a pain since both parties couldn't talk at the same time. This phone has the same half-duplex speakerphone- anyone tried this?

I hate to say it

But this is a nice looking phone.
I agree but it is about 3 years late. Something like this would have been great to compete against the LG ENV line.

It surely is, but I shudder to think what happens when that keypad gets wiggy.

Need help with the phone

I just got it and it comes with a really small 1gb memory card and then another regualar sized memory card that fits in like cameras and stuff like that. But I can't find a slot to put the larger memory card in. I was just going to put it in my camera and use it for that but it says it needs to be programmed and doing so would delete everything on the card. Is the slot for the card just hidden on the phone? Because I can't find it.
I found out what it was for.

Will this require an unlimited data plan?
Since it's not a smart phone I'm going to assume the answer to your question is no.

Need your help, ps

Bought this phone for my gf for Christmas. Its exactly what I wanted for her and more. It beeps intermittently during a call, really for no rational reason. It was vibrating at first, but turned off vibrate function. I have turned off the minute minder and all other alerts I can think of. Gonna take it to the store tomorrow if I can't figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.
UNFORTUNATELY when on a call and your face brushes up against the touch keypad on the phone, it beeps or vibrates. Exchanged 2 phones at the store before I figured it out. 🤭

By turning the keyguard off everytime you make a call this stops, ...

Texting problem

Ok, so i just this incognito and it seems pretty good but i have two glitches with the texting. ONE: while i'm texting one of my contacts it will say they're number instead of their name. TWO: I will send a message to someone and it will say i sent it at 9:40 which is true, then they'll reply at 9:43 and it will say their replying at 10:43 which gets my messages messed up and out of chronological order. Anyone know how to fix any of these two problems?

analysis from the peanut gallery...

Aside from the ever-so-popular enV devices with Verizon, I wonder if we are seeing a gradual revival of sideways clamshell designs among the other carriers. It is interesting to see that all of the other three major carriers have recently offered such devices; the Samsung Comeback through T-Mobile (if it can be loosely interpreted as a sideways clamshell), the Pantech Impact through AT&T, and the Sanyo Incognito through Sprint. Perhaps the great consistent success of the enV series is spurring this on.

It would be good to point out that the sideways clamshell appears to have originated with Nokia's Communicator series (in fact, AT&T, then Cingular, offered one of these), and that the design was not initially popular. Although the Nokia...

Texting

Can you text from the outside of the phone using T9?
I don't think so. At least I haven't been able to find something that allows it.

pricing?

does anyone know the price point on this phone before the launch of 11-30 and also does it require a data plan?
Pricing: $50 after a $50 mail in rebate

Plan: From what I can tell (just speculation) the phone will be treated the same as the Samsung Exclaim, with no data plan being required.

Definetly a great phone, can't wait to get it. Sprint finally did ...
