Why won't Motorola just release the E398 here in the States? I held off on getting one because I heard of a newer one coming soon (the C698p), and they're trimming back features like Bluetooth, haptics (like the V600/V620 ring lights), and the mp3 player? WTF? On top of it all, it's not even intended for the U.S. at all (again). Damn you, Moto!
No, it's a different phone. The shape and styling are different, as are certains hardware things like the outer display.

The P777 does not have a memory card slot, but it does have 100 MB of memory, which is pretty huge.
Yes, the P777 is for Cingular.
The A800 has a huge QVGA display; the P777 is smaller - 176 x 220. But the A800 is a much larger phone.

Beaming Support
I have spoken with Samsung tech support on the lack of beaming capability on their other smart phones. Does anyone know if beaming with an IR feature be supported on the i730? Samsung has a special format for beaming from one Samsung to another using Microsoft OS, however it is not compatible with other devices (such as the Compaq iPAQ).

Was wondering If you had any info on the video feture. Noticed the 777 said something like 60 mintes of video..is that 400 15 seconds or 1 big one ect..and is that in the a800 aswell ?
