So just like the Buddy Beacon from Helio and Loopt from Sprint Nextel...

I'm guessing that they will use advertising to pay for the service, unlike Sprint who charges $2.99 a month. I do see a conversation of this being an invasion of privacy though. With The buddy beacon you of course add the people you want to find, and then as time goes on you are randomly asked if you want a certain person to connect with you if you added them a while ago.
There could be instances though were a boss would require his employees to have it enabled so he could track them.
I view this as a good thing though, especially for parents wanting to keep track of there kids or college students wanting to meet up with there buddies once they get out of class.
