Reviews of the Storm

It's amazing how this happens everytime a new phone comes out! So the Storm doesn't do a few things perfect! I could care less about the petty reviews so far. Most users today could give a rats ass about many of the features. What is important is that it makes calls first( lets not forget this). Yeah, the Iphone has probably a nicer touch screen with icons that are basically useless. The Storm has good call quality on a solid network! This is huge folks! The data network puts the AT&T data network to shame, this is huge folks! It's a blackberry, not a toy first. Why the early reviewers forget about the simple basics is one of the reasons I don't post anymore( or hardly anymore) on Howards or Phonescoop. Get real folks, the Storm w...
Where I live Verizon has horrible coverage and spotty call quality. I'm looking at it now and the LG Dare on my desk has one bar. It can't even make a steady call. AT&T's network has full coverage. There are areas where AT&T probably has bad coverage...
she was coming from the CDMA side of things. She hates me now for letting her get an iphone. She doesn't just drop calls she doesn't get them 80% of the time. 1 bar of CDMA is like 4 of GSM. If you live in a metropolitan area then this may not matter ...

I will stick with my Curve!

This shoulda got the Bold!

After watching that review I gotta say I'm unimpressed. I don't want to be dealing with a laggy phone like that, i knew i would hate losing physical keys and this proves it!
Its not for everyone... The click screen helps & new users will adapt faster than current BB users.
what does this have to do with physical keys lol?

my biggest concern with the storm

this might be dumb to everyone else, but the one thing i want in the storm is the labrynth game with the ball and the maze. it is absolutely amazing on my brothers touch diamond, and if the storm doesnt have it i dont want it, ill wait for the 6850. thanks guys.

Not a toy for little boys...

Guys... this is NOT an iphone. An iphone is an itouch connected to a wack wireless netwrk. This is the best PIM device that just happens to have a touch screen and cool media funtions. Dont forget that apple leads with coolness & style while lacking business tools and security. The BB Storm leads with business tools and security, yet is sexy and plays itune, and can do picture shows with a swipe of the finger AND has 3.2 mp cam and video & mms & expand memslot, remov batt, and global and so much more.... If you are looking for an apple phone - just buy an apple phone. Face it, you are not looking for BES security, you are looking for Myspace & facebook tools (FYI, Storm interfaces there too) Its a business tool with toys, not a toy fo...

Did you type that on your 'professional grade' Blackberry?

Was it just your review unit or is this device really that shoddy?

As a Blackberry fan, this is downright embarassing. The lag is very noticeable in the video, but half of the time (especially in the media player) the UI isn't even responsive!

Are these guys totally unaware that the iPhone's been out for over a year?

Lots of cool ideas but this feels too rushed (especially looking at those menus) for what I thought was going to be a killer phone.
I actually got an opposite impression from what you did. Yes, the iphone has been out for over a year, but it wasn't perfect when it was first released either. No recent phone I have purchased was perfect either.

We are now dealing with complex sma...
