Yawn....

Here's a novel idea for AT&T...... how about focusing on the 40-50% of the US that still lives without 3G before launching services that require 3G? Stop putting the cart before the horse.
Heck yes, Buffalo Ny, Pittsburgh Pa, L.A. Ca!!!

Plenty of places yet to be upgraded!!!

i live in st. Louis, we have 3g 😛
but seriously video share is a software upgrade to the billing and data sending systems. while building a 3g network involves union workers to climb a cell phone tower and, for lack of a better word "work".

Expensive.

Wow, that seems expensive.
Way to expensive for one way video call. 🙄
I agree, way expensive, $10, all you get is 60 minutes!!!

Anyone tried it?

Has anyone from San Antonio, Dallas, or Atlanta actually tried it? I am interested to hear how well it actually works.

*Warning- Not PC*

(1) People complain that Cingular needs to finish rolling out 3G before adding "a novel feature"--Firstly, Cingular is continuing to roll out the network. What the hell do you expect them to do, not launch a new feature until you get your 3G coverage? The purpose of a business is to make money: many things to make people go "ohhh" = an opportunity for money to be made. Also, some places are more important than others, thus not a big priority to rush out the 3g; San Francisco or New York does not have the same importance as , Wyoming.

(2) Video Sharing makes no sense-- Most simply, don't get it if you don't want it. Also, it makes perfect sense. There are limits in all companies on the amount a video message can be. If you want to show som...

NUTTS! 🙄
agreed, but i'm sort of surprised that some mid-major cities still don't have it (i.e. Pittsburgh). we have 3G in cleveland, and that's all that matters to me really - but still, kinda surprising.

AT&T has to keep coming up with new innovative i...
