"Push Ringer" Forces Your Friends to Hear Your Tunes
Forcing your "great" taste of music on other people ...
This reminds me of myspace. I find it social rude to put your favorite grunge metal polka tune on your profile -- and force everybody to listen to it. Nobody wants to hear it.
The same goes for ringtones. Chances are, I do not like your taste in music, and what song you want to associate to me or yourself. As much as you think you are, you are not "too sexy for your shirt i definitely do not need to hear it in public.
Forcing ringtones on your friends will go down in history with other antisocial mobile wonders such as spamming all your friends with a MMS of your cat throwing up, checking in at gas stations with Dodgeball, and AT&T's incredibly creepy "Friend Finder".

I hate that about myspace too, I do not approve any video comments and even deny most picture comments and don't have crazy themes or music or videos... i hate when one my friends tells me to go look at their profile and it crashes my browser because ...

Whoring out friends & pimping ringtones to people... that's not kewl @ all. I should have the final say in what comes over my phone, not anybody else, regardless if I will love the song. My friend can say "Hey, d/l this song" or "hey check out this song."
Yep. I can imagine calling my grandmother while she is walking around the grocery store and her phone starts blaring "F* the police" or something. LOL

Why would I want ready-made content sent to my phone anyway? Aside from turning bright red from sheer embarrassment when my friend calls with a offensive ringtone during, say, a date 🤠, I would rather know what is on my fon and that I made it.

How unprofessional is this? Why can't people just download there own ringtones...Waste of time and money, somebody needs to put a stop to this and stop entertaining 12 year olds who would think this is cool.

No. A lot of music publishers are going away from DRM. There was an article on it on Rolling Stone and on rcrwireless.com.

Good idea, but...
what if they have a totally inappropriate ringtone and they call you while at work? It would be lame thing to get written up for.
