I love this line:

Although this handset will work on parts of Cingular's 3G network, it is not slated for sale in the US.

Can you blame Nokia for holding back after the severe burns that it got for trying to market the N75 through Cingular?

doesn't Telstra have soley an 850 HSDPA network? wouldn't this fit better there, with Euro 3G roaming capabilities? Or vise-versa: Euro 3G with Aussie 3G roaming?
this phone definitely *would* work on telstra, in fact it does seem optimized for it, but its initial release will be in europe and the middle east. it would make sense to bring the 6120 to telstra, as well as allowing "international roaming" for euro...

Yes, a phone with WCDMA 850 - but not WCDMA 1900 - is almost certainly designed with Telstra in mind.

Officially, they're only announcing it for Europe / Asia for now, but it's pretty clear Nokia designed this for Telstra's network, for roaming at ...
