CDMA and GSM are screwed

It's all going to be over when wimax comes it seems. It's less money to set up wimax than cdma or gsm. Foreign countries will have Wimax set up before Cingular gets this country in 3G...
how is CDMA screwed? it is common knowledge that Sprint is slated to launch WiMax next year, and it is already launched in Chicago. Can't wait for it to be launched here in Baltimore.

QUALCOMM IS GOING NUTS!

i cant believe this, they are far to agressive in aquiring every patent related to cellular telephony there is. good god this is rediculous, WiMax is gonna be proprietary like CDMA, i thought WiMax was going to be an open-market technology, i guess not 👿

Nokia 6120

The question is: will Nokia actually release the phone in the 2nd quarter if at all. It maybe just an "enticement" to wet out appetites. It has possibilities for the US market and I will consider purchasing one as it is quad band.
