SD vs SDHC

Does anyone know if I can use a micro SDHC card in my VE20? Or do I have to stick with the micro SD?
I just got mine and I could not find out if the SDHC would work on this phone, even the owners manual fail to make note of this. So I typed in "Accessories" for this phone, on the web, and sure enough I did find that it does use SDHC, so I purchase a ...

Ringer ID

One of the things I have been looking for in a phone is for the ringer id that you assign to a contact when they either call or TEXT. I like to be able to know who is texting based on the sound I hear. I know some motorola phones do this but I haven't been able to get the ve-20 to. Does anyone else know how? Or if it is even possible?
I've had this phone for around a month now and have figured out how to set a Ringer ID for calls but when they text it does the same inbox notification as anyone else, so I don't think there is a way to set an ID for texting, at least not that I've fo...

Vibrate for Texts?

Is there a way to set this phone to vibrate when someone sends me a text rather than make a noise? I like having a ringer/ringer ID for calls but if I use one for texts I tend to get annoyed by it sooner than later because I text a lot. With all my previous phones I've set it to vibrate only for inbox messages, is there a way to do that with this phone? Thanks!

Alltel & The Motorola Razr VE20

i just got a couple new dummy phones from motorola and they have the alltel logo, anyone has any idea what price alltel will be? or even better yet when they may be available for us?
HoFo is reporting Alltel getting this phone next week (Tuesday) The rumored price is 99-129. Knowing Alltel like I do, I would bet on the price being closer to 129. They tend to be higher than Sprint, esp. when the phone is first released.

I'm not gonna lie

I am not a fan of Motorola at all. I do everything I can to avoid selling people Motorola phones due to their crappy quality. BUT this new RAZR has made convinced me that maybe Motorola has pulled their head out of their A$$ and are finally making a quality product. My first reaction to seeing the new device was "who cares, it's just another crappy phone" until I actually started playing with it. First thing I noticed is the classic Motorola lag was gone I clicked buttons like crazy and the phone didn't skip a beat. The applications load and run very smoothly, and the camera is nice to boot. The new razr might be light in the darkness for Motorola but we will see how it sells and the customers reactions to the phones. I definetly wont be ste...

Thanks for the info. Just out of curiousity, how is the menu? Moto's menus have always been one of my major gripes. Any improvements? Thanks again.

Will the RAZR just DIE please!!!

I mean seriously Motorola! Come on! 👿 The phone is JUNK!!! I guess you have to keep coming out with crappy phones to stay in the lime light. 🙄
You are mistaken- actually this looks like a nice upgrade to the w385 which I have.
I look forward to getting it.
This isn't your fathers Razor sonny.

I completely agree...Seriously Motorola, if your lack the creativity to produce a phone that doesn't resemble the RAZR, then you could at least let the name go. People nowadays have a negative perception of RAZR phones because everyone either has had...

This Razr makes the grade.

Not too bad of a phone. I actually got to demo this phone for a couple of weeks before it came out. I gotta give it props, it has everything the Razr2 V9 has without the high price tag! I have had it for 3 weeks now and thou it froze on me once it has impressed me in many ways.

The Pros-
*Its got great signal, I had 2 bars in my casa with my old phone..this one gives me 3-4 bars.

*Its got LiveSearch! Nuf said..

*Very fast web browsing speed(I believe it runs on Sprints EVDOrev.A)

*Good resolution camera(2mp) and crystal clear display

*External caller ID touch screen comes in handy for quick access w/o having to open the phone.

*Moto has also fixed the bugs that the old razors are known for{such as dial pad delays and esp. ...

It's out in stores..

For what it's worth, this guy is for sale in sprint retail locations. It launched the same day as the eclipse. Just wondering why it's not on sprints carrier page.

Downgrade?!?!

Eric are you saying this is a downgrade from the Razr 2 or the original razr? It looks like it blows the original out of the water, and has the same featureset as the razr 2.
I was kind of wondering that myself. The only thing really in common with the original RAZR is the chin/mic area. I thought this phone seemed pretty solid when I messed with it at Best Buy. The UI seems improved greatly.
