Why oh why?

Why is this phone more expensive than the Katana and the 8400, let alone other brand sprint phones?

Does this make any sense at all?

So what if it's "rugged" i'm still going to have people come in with broken screens and hinges.

Sanyo, I've said this before, "Catch up with the industry, quick!"

Their only credit will be wimax phones soon... we'll see how that goes.

for the phone to be able to use GPS, it will need a data connection. mobile phons typically use A-GPS. that is, since the phone doesnt have a direct connection to the satellites, it needs the carriers assistance with attaining gepositioning informatio...

uuuuuuuuuuugly

sanyo makes phones exclusively for Sprint for a reason . . .
Because they're good quality? I agree.

There are many loyal Sanyo followers, each to his own!
sanyo makes quite possibly the toughest phones on the market with the exception of nextel of course. anyone who takes looks over functionality is an idiot. motorola is garbage once again with the exception of nextel, samsungs are only good on cdma, an...

Information incorrect

This phone will not be an entry level phone. It is a Military Spec. rugged phone that will be EVDO/Ready Link capable.
i did hear something about that. EV-DO but no camera. perfect for those that cannot take their phone in to work
The 7000 is entry-level.
