Im worried

im worried about Qualcomm tightening their noose on the wireless industry, and aquiring companies left and right to mass produce chips with new technologies that they acquire., they are strong-arming the other chip manufactures, this makes me nervous as qualcomm one of the largest producers of CDMA2000 chips(1xrtt, 1xEVDO) plus 3GSM chips(HSDPA, UMTS).
it is a worry but understand also that this is how businesses run... think of microsoft (tho qualcomm is not nearly as large)... the larger ur company the more control you have on the market...

How this affects us ??

Does that mean we will see prices for bluetooth handsets drop with cariers that are using qualcomm chips? Also more variety when it comes to phones with bluetooth on cdma carriers?
qualcomm makes the chips that allow cdma devices to work on cdma network... i dont believe this has anything to do with bluetooth... when you will see the major drop in bluetooth headsets is when all device manufacturers start including bluetooth in a...

Rock on Qualcomm & typorama in the post...

Hurray for all in devices. It should be interesting to see if there will be more features with the extra connectivity this opens up.

BTW - The post is choppy and difficult to read... I'm guessing it wasn't on purpose.
yah, i apologize. i've corrected the post so that you can now read it without having an aneurism, which is apparently what was happening to me when i wrote it.
