I guess I see why Moto signed up with them for UMTS

Pretty impressive. Probably a big reason for that announcement about Moto to use Qualcomm chips for UMTS.
It is also to say to Nokia that even if the current situation that is taking place we already will have another substitute for you and this UMTS/HSDPA market is/will be a lot bigger than the CDMA market.

These advances take ToOoOoOooo Looong! ! ! ! ! ! !

Won't even be available til sometime late 07!!!!!!!! Or 08, I've been month to month for 13 months, because I'm waiting, and waiting, and waiting for something sophisticated and innovated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
im glad this chip is out now, this will speed up the production of new 3g(GSM) phones.

T-Mobile USA is going to jump all over this.

This is just what Tmo USA needs to jump start their wagon with their 3G on 1700/2100. I was alsmost thinking there wasnt going to be something like this out there this fast. Happy there is!

Now, lets see those handsets.
