Cord Cutting Myth

I've always felt cord cutting was a bit of myth. By the time you sign up for all different services to get the same content are you really saving much, if any money.

Also, each service has a limit to how many simultaneous streams you are allowed. This is where I've noted that most people who write articles about the benefits of cord cutting rarely mention children. Most seem to be either single or fairly newly married. A family of 4 or 5 can easily be watching 4 or 5 things at the same time. If the children are small, simply tuning the Disney channel is easier than setting up playlists from a streaming provider. A live feed is critical.

If you end up subscribing to Netflix, Hulu, CBS, etc. Aren't you still ultimately paying for...
