Why dont other carriers offer txt plan like this??

i dont want this stupid dumbed down kids plan with like No minutes but i would like other carriers (specifically Verizon because thats what i have) to offer plans that let you text and it comes out of your minutes. I always have a lot of left over minutes every month and it would nice if i could use them for text as opposed to being charged 10 cents per text. 😉

what about the cheerleader commercial?

didn't she, like, have the most unlimited wknd/nights minutes on T-Mo? Now she's on lockdown?

"i love chewing gum!"

"i was like whatever, and he was like whatever, and i'm all..."

whatever, indeed...
Ever heard of two simultanious adds at once? McDonalds runs like 5 at once. You must have had a bad expierience with T-Mob, don't take it out on the commercials.

Correction to the news article.

The article is quoting a .25 charge for text messages, which isn't quite correct. The way it works is the KC line costs 20.00/month no matter what. How it's used is up to the user--the 20.00 covers 50 whenever minutes, or 200 text messages, or 80 picture messages, whatever the user prefers--as soon as the charges hit 20.00 it's all over. To a savvy kid, this could be a tremendous amount of freedom and phone use without costing Mom & Dad an arm and a leg... 😉
Also after the $20 is spent, they can come into any t-mobile retail store 😉 and put pre-paid minutes on the KC phone. They will roll over to the next billing cycle if not used that particular month as well.

...After $20, child can still rece...

Here is a better idea.

Save your money and do not give your sub 17 year old a cell phone.

"Sir, I'm sure your six yr. old needs a phone..." 😈

If parents have the money let them spend it heh heh.
