So they're (allegedly) violating patents for CDMA by selling GSM handsets... yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

Could someone explain this, as I have no idea what they're trying to prove here.
I believe he meant "WCDMA", not just "CDMA" - because WCDMA is based off of GSM (ironically enough): https://www.phonescoop.com/glossary/term.php? gid=104.....

Quallcomm afraid of Nokia?

I'm just wondering why Quallcomm always attacks Nokia... maybe it is because Nokia is the biggest patent holder in the wireless industry, and are thus an ever present threat to Quallcomm's patent licensing revenues. Quallcomm is simply afraid of Nokia.

These patents in question here haven't been a problem earlier, but only now that the negotiations aren't going as expected.

Oh well.
You are wrong with your statement about Qualcomm always attacking Nokia. Nokia has helped lead a campaign in Europe against Qualcomm. Nokia, along with five other major telecommunications companies, including Ericsson, NEC, Panasonic Mobile, Broadcom ...
