I was there when 2G debuted !

I feel sad. I might cry.

I also remember the market they migrated from GSM/GPRS to TDMA and then migrated back.

TDMA...those were the days. No SIM card and the 5 digit SID codes!!!!!!
Are you sure about that? I believe they migrated from AMPS to TDMA to GSM.

Sprint had the first GSM network in the USA.

Good.

That is a plethora of 850/1900mhz spectrum that can go toward LTE. This will greatly improve performance in the many areas they are already saturated in their Band 17 and Band 4 deployments...
