WhatsApp Secures Messages with End-to-End Encryption

Next thing we know we will see the Government trying to get Encrypted data from What's APP in the news.

don't get me wrong, I don't want anyone to see what I'm sending but the recipient, but making such an announcement, no one even the government won't be able to see your messages, kinda incites the wrong people to abuse the service. I think they should have just done it without making such a big fuzz about it. I could be wrong, but this is how I see it at the moment.
