ESPN Lowers Price of MVP, More Phones Coming

Too bad NOONE WANTS ESPN

I pay enough for the cable in my house, I'm not paying extra to have access to ESPN on my phone as well. While I do agree there is definitly a niche for this market, I think they were putting themselves out of the range of most consumers with the price of the MVP. However, theyre still out of the range given the price of thier plans..they're absurd. Has anyone checked them out? Oh and handset insurance? $9 a month.
I would LOVE to get the ESPN service, BUT i cant justify the prices. I see they lowered the price down to $99, BUT the actual phone prices in my mind are WAY to expensive. If I could carry the plan i had on Sprint to this phone, I would do it.

ESPN Deactivation Fee?

Basically wondering if it would be worth buying the MVP on a contract, canceling, and taking the phone over to Sprint. I know its not quite that simple, but price wise, is it feasable?

New [Sanyo] handsets only?

Or will there be more manufactures for this MVNO?
I would imagine that you'd see something from the new Nokia/Sanyo partnership.

What is interesting is, is that Sanyo charged Sprint $495 when the 9000 (different color MVP) came out! Sprint could only "sell" them for $379 plus discounts. Sanyo basicly raped them since it was the first EVDO phone they made. Sounds like ESPN go th...
