MoviStar to own Verizon's Network in PR?

This "America Movil SA" sounds like "MoviStar" (a local cell phone carrier in PR). Does this mean that Verizon's PR network will merge with MoviStar?

I'm really glad I'm not a Verizon customer now. I travel frequently between PR and the US and my Sprint PCS worked so so in PR, but my Cingular phone works like a charm.

I stand corrected, Movistar != America Movil.

They are NOT the same people.

Calling to-from Puerto Rico

After the sale is completed, will existing VZW stateside customers, who call Puerto Rico still be able to call there as part of the Americas Choice plan?

I also travel to Puerto Rico on a regular basis. Now with my Americas Choice plan I do not incur long distance or roaming charges while in Puerto Rico. Will that still be the case after the sale is completed?
