This guy doesn't get it!

The FCC didn't use spectrum screens in the past and look where we are today: Two carriers are hogging the majority of low band spectrum while the rest is either laying fallow (Dish) or is being held captive by spectrum squatters. The result of this is higher prices to consumers with less competition.

It is perfectly reasonable for the FCC to do something which is in the overall public interest, even if that means a little less revenue to the government from the auction itself.
That is right! Even if T-Mobile is allowed to pick up a large portion, they will simply be evening things out by allowing it. ATT and Verizon have a TON of spectrum and Sprint is sitting on a sizable amount as well. Go T-Mobile!
