I think is to finally give up on the OS. People still enjoy the designs of these phones but the fact that the OS is extremely limited as compared to Apple, Google, and even Windows is killing them, literally. I think it's time for them to adapt and start making devices that have Android on them. IMO, this is their only shot of even staying in existence.
I'm not sure on the numbers but even then I doubt most people would feel that Windows is killing them even from a software perspective.
