The Solution to this

Password protect your phone and tell the cops that they can have the password when they get a court order and a proper search warrant.
Hopefully no excuse is found for them to slap on the cuffs at that point. 😲
That's only a solution if they get it off of your phone and not from the provider, which it sounds like that's where it came from in this case.

4th Amendment

The 4th Amendment has been dead in this country for years. Unfortunately we keep electing fools who install fools into the court. Fortunately the 1st Amendment is OK for now.
The message here should be simple. Don't text and rob. If you must break the law turn your cellphone off first. And in the effort to save the FBI tons of money and time. Yes!! I did buy a Firestick on AZ.
