So real question - are they morons?
You're competing with Apple for one, and Google for 2. Do you honestly think ALL merchants of significance are going to adopt all 3? Let alone the end user using your actual device?
You already run Android - and actively work with Google - just partner up and try to take on the big gun (Apple Pay) instead of branching off on your own like American Express did (tried and failed miserably after some horrendous marketing of their mobile wallet called "ISIS" lol!)
