AT&T Lollipop 5.0 - Video Exposure flaw

I recently got the S5 lollipop update from At&t (April 2015) and found the video recording exposure metering seems locked into matrix metering, even if its set for Spot or Center-weighted in the camera app.

Still photo's respect the metering, but video takes the whole frame's brightness (ie: brighter white background) into account and leaves the foreground subject in shadow.

I've compared the SAME SCENE (college room with large whiteboard in background) from the same camera with KitKat (4.4.2 at the time) and the exposure is clearly worse under lollipop.

I know this is technical and nit-picky to most users, but its very disappointing. Especially given how long AT&T takes to roll out updates to the S5, I'm not expecting them to EV...

Android 5.0 is not yet an available update...

The Android 5.0 Lollipop update is not yet available on my country for Samsung Galaxy S5. If I use Odin in updating my phone using other country's baseband version, is my phone then considered rooted and have violated my carrier's policy? 👀 👀 👀

Wha???

A channel that sells hard to get devices? And how do they have it in stock if it's hard to get? Seems like a marketing strategy to me. 🙄
What do you think T-mobile is? Marketing with no substance.

Battery life specs

Where do you guys get your battery life specs from? I'm looking at the Galaxy S 5 GSM model here, it says Talk: 21 hours max. (1260 minutes) , Standby: 390 hours max. (16.3 days)

Looking at T-Mobile's website,

http://support.t-mobile.com/community/phones-tablets ... »

It says Talk is 29 hours, and standby only 280. Why do you think there would be such a large discrepancy there ? Just curious.
try going into settings and look for Battery.

It should list out which apps use the most out of your phone.

not sure if that will help

Menu Button on the SG S5

In the review it says " There's a capacitive Menu button on the left and a capacitive Back button on the right."

I thought the SG S5 had a multi tasking button instead of a Menu button. Am i right or wrong?
There is still a menu button, you just have to long press the left button that's by the home button.
Hope this helps.
