Sprint Execs Talk T-Mobile with Justice Department
I've been with T-Mobile since the day the S4 came out, I'm happy with them. Fast HSPA+, fast LTE, I live in Ct. Solid coverage, New Haven, Waterbury, Hartford, southern Fairfield county, all solid coverage.

Until AT&T has their say in this matter! I think its going to be very hard for Hesse and Softbank to show the good with this when Big Blue will step in and just press PLAY on the recording of when Dan said "this country needs more competition, not eliminating it" (paraphrase).
I would be totally against this if the government would let this pass for a many reasons:
1) It will eliminate competition.
2) It will eliminate jobs.
3) This will enable a foreign company to have more share of the US market. I know this sounds silly but there's something to be said with AT&T and now Verizon, the top two carriers, being completely US companies!
Now if a company like US Cellular or another smaller carrier would step in and make a purchase that ...

1. T-Mobile is already a foreign company with the majority owner being DT from Germany.

Dan Hesse trying to get John Legere under control
Softbank and Dan Hesse want to get t-mobiles ceo under control. This buyout would be just as big of a disaster as the sprint buy out of nextel! I agree, we need to have atleast 4 national carriers to keep prices competitive.

I know of several people who left Sprint to go to Tmobile. I don't see this deal going over well with too many customers from either side, if this deal does go through. But, I'm in agreement with the idea that four carriers is more ideal than three. Which is why I want to see BlackBerry and Windows Phone do well. More options for everyone is better.
