Who likes the iPhone 5S?

Hello everyone. I am looking at getting either the iPhone 5S or the 5C and I would like the opinion of those who own the 5S. Do you like it? I am not a business person, nor am I a photographer. I want to have an iPhone that will take the most current operating system update, has a good camera that I can take quick pictures with, can surf the internet, is fast, and has good call quality. I have AT&T Wireless and I know that AT&T carries it. Is the iPhone 5C worth the money?

Can the Verizon Wireless iPhone 5S and 5C work on AT&T and T-Mobile?

Hello everyone. I have been reading that the Verizon Wireless version of the iPhone 5S and 5C can and do work on AT&T Wireless and T-Mobile. Is this true? If so, how?

Send and receive pictures while talking on the Iphone 5s

With Verizon Iphone 5s, has anybody tried sending/receiving any pictures while talking on the phone?
Verizon wireless technology does not allow for simultaneously talking on the phone and data transfer.

AT&T does.

The only workaround I can think of is actually having wi-fi enabled and on a network.
Yeah, it's not going to happen. Verizons network operates on CDMA based technology which does not allow for the simultaneous transfer of data while on a voice call, unless you're in a wifi area. 🤣

This means if you have Verizon, then talk an...

still no nfc

Guess we'll have to wait until next year for a technology that's been around for years 🙄
That is annoying for standards buffs, but Apple has gone their own way on many such technologies. They haven't gone the standards route with micro-USB, DLNA, Miracast, or much of anything, really.

I don't expect them to adopt NFC any time soon. The...

Not to stick up for Apple, but who really cares about NFC? Seriously. What do you want to be able to do with it on an iPhone that you can't now? Apple brought out their little airdrop deal, which essentially does the same kind of thing.

Additiona...

16GB

Apple still charged $100 for an additional 16GB of memory. Ripoff!
Not really. How else would you get extra memory on your iPhone?

Not this time

I thought that I would soon switch to an Apple iPhone. But with the same small, low pixel density screen, I will stick with android this year. Maybe next year when apple switches to a 4.5" screen ill pick one up. Same phone... with an un-justifiable expense such as a fingerprint sensor..

Same Old Iphone

I really want to like the Iphone,But Android is far ahead..Don't get me wrong,Apple runs smooth, but not much new or ground breaking here..Maybe the Iphone 6 will convince me.. 😉
By the time Apple releases the iPhone 6 the competition will be miles ahead from them. Apple has been launching already-existant technology on their new devices, meaning technology months, if not years old. Nothing new from them really.

Credit towards new iPhone 5S

I read somewhere that for the first time, Apple is allowing those with an iPhone 5 to trade it in for the 5S and apply that credit towards it. Is this true?
Click on over to the "News" tab above and you'll find the story about Apple's new trade-in program. 🙂

no 2.5ghz for sprint

sucks for urban cities but holy crap thats alot of lte radio 😲
What's odd is that there is a version for other markets that supports TDD LTE, just not in Sprint's specific band.

It will support Sprint's new lower band, so it will at least be dual-band for good basic LTE coverage. I wonder if it will be the onl...
