correction...TV Out works

This phone uses the Slimport adapter, as opposed to MHL but it does support TV out.

So LG G2 or should I hold out for the Nexus 5?

I can't really compare anything to the Nexus 5 since everything that's leaked is merely speculation but, the big selling point for me is the camera. 13mp sounds a lot better than 8mp. It's hard to go on just the camera alone though, we had this little Samsung phone from T-Mobile years ago and it only had an 8mp camera. It took better photos than our big digital camera ever did.
I'm not to worried about not having the latest software because I would probably root and install a modded "kit kat" rom down the road anyway.
I used to complain about not having an sdcard slot too but, now all my stuff is synced via google and I don't really find myself needing all that space.
I should also mention that I'm not with T-Mobile but, MetroPCS.

I almost held out for the Nexus 5, but Best Buy was offering a promotion and I got the LG G2 for free. Both look like good phones. I'd say the real question is whether or not you want to be stuck in a 2 year contract.

Why won't LG put a SD Card Slot on This Phone !!!!!

Would love to have had this as my next phone, but they still refuse to put a sd card slot on there phones. That for me is a big draw back. This is the fastest phone out as of now. LG get a sd card slot would boast sales big time.Want are they think...... ☹️ ☹️ ☹️ ☹️ Shaking my head !!!!!!
Are you sure it's LG ?

Usually, a manufacturer strikes an agreement with the carrier to sell a phone before they make the device, and usually, such device characteristics like internal memory, SD card slot, etc, come at the request or decline of t...

32 GB is plenty. Also an SD card can sometimes slow down the performance of applications.

I wonder

If Eric has something against LG.
Sometimes while I read, it felt like he was having a hard time trying to write something nice about this phone.

I may assume that he is simply not able to ignore the ugly hardware (while not the ugliest, but I admit that this is an unattractive phone)

What I think about this phone.
- The camera is better than the one in the GS4.
- The camera software is just about as good as Samsung's, but not really on  par.
- LG phones are the best at multitasking.
- It lacks an stylus, a shame, really. Though, this is still a phone not a phablet.   They should at least offer support for third party hardware, or sell it   separatedly.
- The fastest android phone to date
- Can't believe a phone like this c...

Of course I don't have anything against LG. I use a Nexus 4 at least one day per week. I paid the G2 plenty of compliments, and noted how good the voice and signal performance was, as well as how incredible the screen is.

I simply think LG could h...

PC Synch

I am considering leaving the apple world and have focused on the G2, Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. the G2 looks like a very good choice to get a larger display without going all the way to the Note 3.

Comparing phones I noted that the G2 supposedly does not have a pc synch feature yet it does have USB connectivity. Is this really a problem for transferring music or other data?

The fact that the battery isn't removable is also causing me some concern compared to the Samsung.

I am mainly using phone now for phone and email.

3.15" wide?!

It doesn't look nearly as wide as the SG Note II.
Is this information correct?
Sorry! It's actually 2.79"
