Microsoft Bringing XBox Music to Android and iOS

Wow!!!

As a user of both iTunes and Microsoft's music service (formerly called Zune which had a better interface but I digress) I've OFTEN wondered why in the world Microsoft didn't offer their service on iOS and Android. It's a much better alternative for people who listen to a lot of music (and better still for legacy users like myself who get to permanently convert 10 songs/month to DRM-free status for use on any device.)

I always assumed it was because Microsoft was scared of a fight with Apple maybe? Now that Apple is much bigger than Microsoft maybe Microsoft forced their way into the Apple store using anti-monopoly laws? Who knows, I'm just happy I'll have the same service on my iOS and Windows8 devices.

Apple is much bigger than Microsoft when it comes to the mobile industry, but Microsoft still leads when it comes to comercial computer (x86/64) platform OS and offimatic software.
The EU has even restricted microsoft in some mark...
