SD card, cover/case

I'm a planner. The Note 3 will fit all of my wants, needs, and requirements for many things pertaining to work and home. That being said, I would like to be ready to roll when I purchase one from T-Mobile. There seems to be little information on which type of SD card to use. The specs say it can take a 64GB SD card, but those seem to be only SDXC cards, whereas the SDHC max out at 32GB. Can the Note 3 take an SDXC card? Or is it moot and I could buy a 32GB SDHC card for less money instead of paying more for a 32GB SDXC where the speeds aren't perceptible?

Also, I usually get a case to protect all my devices (currently using Galaxy S III T-Mo) and wonder if that should even matter with this phone.

Lastly, does the usb 3.0 requir...

The specs on SDHC cards indicate that the max size is 32GB. 64GB would therefore indicate SDXC card capability. That being said you should be good to go either with a 32GB SDHC initially since the SDXC spec is backwards compatible -- meaning that it...

Imma need some help here.

I'm getting myself a new phone soon. But I just don't know which one I'm getting!
I'm in between the Note3, GS4, HTC One and the LG G2.

I like the Note3 features and all, but the dang thing is just too big! The S4 is good, like the Note3 but smaller, but I don't know. The G2 specs are way too cool... but it's an LG. The One is good too, I love BeatsAudio! But as with the G2, the sealed battery and no SD card slot kills it for me. So I'm not quite sure here... ☚ī¸

Any help will be greatly appreciated! 🙂
If you want everything and the kitchen sink, the Note 3 is your only option. But beware it comes with the kitchen sink. If you just can't get past that gorgeous, ginormous, uber-useful screen, then I would recommend the mostly comparable GSIV with its...

If the HTC One had been waterproof, then I would be okay with no changeable battery, but I laugh when everyday I see some poor Iphone sucker carrying around their charger looking for a place to plug it in at the mall or in a restaurant. (or sealed And...

Darkitty,
You should also consider the Nexus 5, I do know your post is over a month old. But came late to these posts.

Don't discount LG, yes they made some dogs, but so has Samsung and most other brands. If the size is the issue, then t...

KNOX users beware

I just finished speaking with Samsung and wanted to let everyone know a few things about the Knox security system on the Note 3.

First of all, you cannot undo it once it is enabled. So just know before you enter the Knox waters that once in... you're going to keep it on your phone. No big deal if you use or do not use it though.

Second, it is not possible to cut, copy, or paste any information into or from this software. I was trying to copy or cut some work information from my SD card (from my Galaxy S III) which is now in the SD folder into the Knox folder. Not happening. I'll have to create that folder from scratch if I want it secured within the program.

Third, you cannot use any information contained on your Note 3 in the ...

Note III Active??

so....any plans for a waterproof Note 3? I'd hate to get this when it's available and 2 months later an "Active" version comes out.

Am I the only one wondering?
This is a more business oriented device.
An "active" variant of this device isn't likely to appear (Unless you know some people that like jogging using their business outfits).

Galaxy S4 Extra Large

So essentially a larger Galaxy S4 and not anything special. Disappointed in Samsung this round. Pathetic.
Just curious what you were expecting? It certainly blows away everything else on the market. What were you hoping to see that they missed?

I believe you missed the point of the key differences between and S4 and a Note device. Personally the S4 is a pile compared to a Note 2. Note 3 is awesome!

Lets Hope?

Lets hope this ships with an unlockable bootloader.
Ya, I agree. But even if it doesn't, it's only a matter of time before someone roots it. The community is usually pretty good about figuring out all that stuff in a matter of weeks. But with all the custom software Samsung adds I'm not so sure ill be ...

Was hoping for a 5.9" or 6.1" screen and a bigger battery. But other than that, this is the device for me.
You should just get a Samsung Galaxy Mega. 6.3 inch screen, Brother

New charge port?

Looks like the port that I have on my USB 3.0 Western Digital external hard drive.
