Storage Capacity

Why is the S4 for Verizon only offered as 16gb when other carriers have 32gb and 64gb models available?
Ask Verizon. They often request less memory from manufacturers. See: Droid DNA
When I got mine we went to get the 16gb but they were out of them so they gave us the 32gb model

Can't handle YouTube

When I go to the youtube webpage in the browser the S4 just can't handle it. The pages lag, it freezes, you can't respond to comments, etc. When I do this on my iPhone5 or my son's motorola this problem does not exist. Anyone else experiencing this? Is there a fix?

SIM Card

Nevermind, already got the answer:

https://www.phonescoop.com/articles/discuss.php?fm=m ... »

Thanks Eric,

Is it international phone? What are the frequencies?
Does it have a sim card underneath the battery cover? Could you show a pic of what's under the cover?
This reply applies to the Sprint variant only.

You can replace the SIM card with a foreign SIM card when traveling abroad, but you won't be able to get data using that SIM card. There is no option to set the APN (access point name) unless you root ...

Stay Iphone 5 or galaxy s4

Is it worth trying the s4 or stay with the iPhone 5 especially with the 5s out in a few months?
Well it really depends are your a full time apple wonk with a boat load of $$$$ in apps? If not the screen size and Samsung's built in easy mod apps should easy the transition to android . Although android's learning curve and complexity is vastly ov...

I think you should stay with Apple as the transition to Android will be much harder than the transition to the s model in the fall.
...
Well the only reason to stay with Apple is if you are a Apple fanboi and don't mind being locked to the Apple App store and having to use iTunes and having to use the lightning connector etc. I thought you found Android intimidating.

Stay Iphone or go S4

Currently have a jailbroken Iphone 5 had had apple since the Iphone 4 and had a droid X which was junk, but like the open platform of droid. Is the S4 worth the switch?
If the iphone fits your needs, just stay.

The galaxy S4 is a completely different experience. Not necessarily better, but a lot different.
The reason why I'm sticking to Android phones is because I am used to the platform, and I am currently devel...

Why in these reviews are Music sound quality never discussed

Yes, I agree, voice quality is important and you guys do great describing normal talk quality and speakerphone use. But when discussing Music, the apps and management are discussed but nothing is ever mentioned about the actual sound quality of music, both in headphones and externally.

Some find it an important consideration and take note of this part of performance.

Its not just this review but I read reviews of all phones and its a lacking aspect of otherwise very detailed reviews...

I for one, find it disappointing.
Well if music and sound quality are really important to you you can A) buy an app that improves the sound quality of the music.
B) purchase a device like the HTC One that comes with a built in amplifier and sound software like beats Audio.

C) bu...

If that is your concern.

Samsung's music player is very feature rich. The quality and power output of it's amplifier is good. But not as good as the quality offered by the HTC one and not nearly as good as the 5v amplifier on the Iphone.

My S4 deletes all emails in inbox by itself!

I received my S4 three days before they came out for Verizon and it's a really nice phone and everything seems to work flawlessly but after three days I went to check my emails in two accounts and they we're gone, After spending over three hours on the phone with Verizon's tech support and over an hour with Samsung (who were no help at all) the phone was replaced twice and still the problems persists, I had to go back to my IPhone and hate it now, does anyone have any idea what is the problem?
