CloseCall: New MVNO Will Include Parental Controls

Heh, one thing I was amazed to see: It is NOT a Sprint MVNO!! As I was reading the article I was thinking to myself that this would be another addition to the many using Sprint's network.

With all of these MVNO's popping up, I really think this will confuse people even more. (Not to say not all MVNOs are bad, just that its getting pretty crazy how many are starting up lately)

Does this mean the end of restricted and private numbers calling my phone? Or does this only block phone numbers? 😕

If not... is their another way?

Many phones already have this functionality. What's the big deal? VzW and other provider can set phones to 'incoming only' or 'outgoing only.' Also many phones themselves allow the ability to add 'special' numbers which can be blocked or be the only numbers callable (is that a word?).

Close Call Wireless?

Seems like a weak M.O. to me...

I could see that being very successful do to the popularity of cell phones with kids, and the need for the parents to stay in touch without going broke.
