Google Taking Wait-and-See Approach to Windows Phone
Don't make us wait too long, Google!
I hope they get working on their service Apps soon. I'm loving Windows 8, and while I can sync my GMail in the Mail app, it'd be really nice to have native support for all the other services I use on a regular basis as well.
I'm not sure what they're waiting to see either. It may not be the most well loved OS so far, but there are and will continue to be a rapidly growing number of people using Windows 8. It's not going anywhere.

It's really a numbers game. Right now, there aren't that many WP8 users out there, and, since developing apps takes time and resources, Google is saying that developing for that platform may not be worthwhile, given how many users there are right now...
