Off Topic: Sprint

Looking over the article, it mentions that this is the first Kyocera phone using Java instead of its traditional BREW. Is Kyocera making plans to once again produce a phone for Sprint? Not like I'm eager to purchase one, just curious.
Yes. No confirmation yet, but it says on the article that it is going to be for the Virgin Mobile, which runs on our network. To be honest though, I'm sure this one is not going to be a good seller. It will probably run somewhere around $80 to $100 an...

Attack of the clones

And here I thought Samsung was bad...this thing looks like the OTHER 15 models Kyocera's released in the past couple of years (except for the Koi and Slider).
Pretty much... but in a way that's the point. Using a standardized hardware platform allows them to bring down costs and keep reliability high.

Superphonic?

Clearly marketing speak, but wth is "superphonic ringtones" supposed to mean?

Only dogs can hear them?
I believe that is what Virgin Mobile calls it's Music Ringtones.

In Europe this phone will be called the "Royale", but in the US we call this a "Quarter Pounder" 🤣
