will battery bank damage the life of iphone battery?

I use battery bank a lot, but I heard that battery bank will damage the life of iphone battery, is that the truth?
The largest battery bank I have found is 16800mAh just like this one,
http://www.sainsonic.com/cellphone-accessories/batte ... »
I found the a battery bank can't work to it's full capacity. So,I do need one with larger capacity, so advise.
No battery bank does not damage the phone's battery it works just like we use a wall charger. In some cases power banks do not have the real capacity contrary to written on them.

Late shopping

Ordered y phone sept 19 from Verizon.com and my email confirmation said it would be delivered by October 5 (TODAY). Whenever I would check the status it would say the phone will be SHIPPED on October 5 (TODAY). Guess what?? It hasn't shipped and it's STILL saying its going to be SHIPPED October 5 (even though the day is almost over). I'm really upset and no one from Apple and Verizon can tell me where my phone is.

Anyone else experiencing the same problem?
the sellers are alway saying that your order have been sent, that is just a excuse.

Not Impressed Really

Most of the specs on the iPhone 5 still lag behind my Galaxy S3 😕 .Since the iPhone is the only phone Apple makes, seems they would have made sure that it had the HIGHEST spec available in a phone, on launch date. The specs on the iPhone 5 trail behind Android phones that were released months ago. I can bet you that no GS3 or DroidRazr owners are gonna buy a lower spec phone. So I guess the iPhone 5 will appeal to current iPhone owners that want upgraded specs.
I beg to differ. I have been a member of PS for probably about 7 years, and I think I have done one review for a phone and I am about to do another for the SGS3. Compared to an iPhone 4S, the SGS3 may have better specs, but those specs do not translat...

Simultaneous Voice and Data

Why the iPhone 5, having LTE, does not support simultaneous voice and data and can it be corrected with the software update in the future ? Thanks.
It is a restriction of the iPhone because of how they made the radio chip. It can not be fixed with a software upgrade. This is why Android is better.

iPhone 5

If you read exactly what this phone can and can not do on certain carriers this phone is not as capable as some Droid phones. Example galaxy s3 on Verizon can multi task, talk and check emails at the same time. According to Apple, there phone is not capable of this. According to them it is due to the antenna!! Just crazy. Not getting it.
What you are talking about refers to network technology, not a limitation with the device. Smartphones on AT&T and T-Mobiles GSM networks have been able to multitask for several years. Verizon and Sprint's CDMA networks are largely not capable of si...

Gmail Integration

I am considering moving to an iPhone from Android, and I'm wondering how well it works with Gmail. Is it as good as Android? In particular, I love the way that contacts and calendar work with with my Android phone - I update/add a contact or calendar item from my phone, it immediately updates Gmail online, and the same goes for the other way around. Can the iPhone do this as well?

Also, are there apps for email like on Android (currently use Touchdown for Exchange (my work) email and K9 mail for home email), or do you have to use the built-in email app?
Setup gmail as exchange account and use server m.google.com works perfect. Gmail, contacts, calendars sync perfect.
...
GMail works well on the iPhone. I have a Verizon iPhone4 setup with my Gmail contacts through a CardDav account. I have my emails come through the GMail setup built into the phone. I used to have everything setup through the Exchange setup but once th...

Facebook Links

Is there a way to delete a FB contact from my contacts list (someone I would never call) without deleting the FB information from the majority of my contacts that I do call?

Thanks
A android problem on and Apple device!
On android I know you can just select to sync facebook with just the contacts already in you phone, not your entire facebook friends list.
Go to Contacts, Tap Groups, uncheck "All Facebook" All contacts that came from Facebook will be removed from the contacts.

The only other route is to remove one by one of the contacts you don't want.

Does anyone know of a way to delete all email at once without selecting each one and then choosing delete?

You can hit edit in the inbox and then select each email then archive or delete.

16GB, 32 or 64

Just wondering if anyone could advise as to what limitations one would have with 16gb. What will the extra memory allow me to do? Why would I need 64?
Thanks.
Depends on if you take a lot of pics/videos. Or if you buy lots of things thru iTunes, i.e. tv shows/movies. I am going for 32GB. I think that is the sweet spot.

My first iPhone was 16G 3GS. Paid $150 & sold 2yrs later for $150. Spent 1st yr learning system. Loaded it with about 100 songs lots of pictures, maybe 1000 and some 50 home videos, average length 2Min. Long story-short - my next phone was iPhone 4 32...

does any one know

So I can't seem to get answer to this question. Does the iPhone 5 not support sprint's HD voice because it doesn't have the proper codec or is it a hardware limitation. I know the modem the iPhone is using is Qualcomm's mdm 9615m but don't know if it supports CDMA 1×advanced.

Sprint 800 mhz (esmr)

Hi guys, It's been a while. Can anyone tell me if this new i phone 5 can support Sprints upgraded towers (network vision) in the 800 mhz esmr cdma band like most of their current smart phones do? It should not be a deal breaker for me, I know, but I really would like to know that when and if I buy this phone, it will be able support Sprint's FUTURE tower upgrades.
Thanks in advance guys!
Jim
It does support Sprint's ESMR band. We've updated our specs to clarify that.
...
Related question... just figured I'd ask since the specs say it supports CDMA 2100, which is IMT CDMA in Asia? If the international version loses this from the Verizon/Sprint version, then perhaps it is actually the AWS CDMA (as used by Leap and Metr...

single chip?

Holey... freakin'... baseband radios on a single chip?

Granted it isn't every band that could be supported (although T-Mobile's AWS 1700 HSPA+ is going away in favor of PCS 1900 HSPA+, and thus it isn't a big deal to not support AWS HSPA+), but still, that is a TON of radios to stick on one chip. Although no LTE for 700 and 1700 bands, it basically covers most US LTE anyway thanks to Verizon's amazing LTE ubiquity as of late. It even makes the AT&T version look... well... less global? Even the "Global" version is... well... less global than the Verizon/Sprint version just by virtue of losing LTE 750 and LTE 1900 and gaining nothing in return.

Regarding both US versions of this new iPhone 5, I say AT&T is getting shafted, T-Mobile is...

So which carriers will...

So which US carriers will "Wideband Audio" work with? Verizon...AT&T??
None from what I have read. ATT and VZW dont support Wideband Audio. Its a international thing
None, unless one of them announces something new.

Big Error?

Battery Talk: 8 hours max. (480 minutes)
Standby: 5400 hours max. (225 days)

Cool, only have to charge the phone, 2x a year...LOL. Standby might be off just a bit. 🤭
Looks like a factor of ten error... a.k.a. "the extra zero".

540 hours - 22.5 days sounds much more reasonable to me.
Yep. 🤭 Fixed. Thx.
