Personally..............

I laugh at everyone that are willing to spend outlandish amounts of $$$ for already way overpriced products.
Are we going with or without contracts?
With contract..they are competitively priced amongst everyone...
Hell, they barely cost more at full retail..I guess you are laughing at all cell phone makers in general.

GSIII 16GB is $549.99
iPhone 4S 16...

Apple has a cycle and price cuts do not come for the current iPhone until the new iPhone gets announced/released thats just the apple way and has been for awhile now.

It also depends if your talking contract or out of contract pricing to. Persona...

It need to be a radical re-think from the ground up...

For Apple to have any chance of regaining its mojo the next iPhone needs to be the most radical re-design of the entire concept of a smartphone since the original iPhone 5 years ago.....

They can't be satisfied with these minor, incremental changes any more...a longer battery life, a faster processor, a slightly better camera, they need to rethink everything from the ground up...

The next iPhone needs to be as radical a change in philosophy as Windows 8 is from Windows 7.....only this will make the iPhone the 'it' device again.....

If they make yet another minor update....Android wins and iOS loses...
600,000 + .
That's the amount of applications Apple has.

That's the amount of revenue their ecosystem has generated.

I have to admit,

with as little interest I have in owning an iPhone and as much of a Google/Android fanboy as I am, it's still exciting to see the new iPhone. The visual design is always intriguing and it's impossible to deny their influence over the rest of the industry.

And the new iPad to be as big as ever

It will come with the most recent update called "gynormous shard of glass." It doubles as a picture window.

How Do They "Get Away With It"?

Apple's marketing is like the waiter who stands at the table, never puts your order into the kitchen as to what you want but sits there and teases you with just how GREAT your dinner is going to be.

Apple's delivery on the other hand has all the excitement of Christmas morning until you realize your parents simply took your old toys, re wrapped them, and presented them to you as "NEW".

If the "leaked" videos and the developer specs are accurate, then I feel like a chump for waiting when I could of gone out and purchased a GSIII two months ago! Oh, that's right, Apple is trying to ban the GSIII!

Thank you, Apple for eliminating my choices as a consumer, and investing in costly litigation instead of product development.

How about ...

I've never understood the Cult of Apple either....surely 15,20, 25 years ago part of the appeal of Apple was that very few people used it, so you got to feel like you belonged to a special elite club....but these days, everyone and his brother uses Ap...
