No SLVR on Cingular

I am a Cingular employee and we have just gotten word that Nokia has signed an deal with Cingular to be the sole bar style phone provider. With the exception of the C207 and smartphones; also the deal does not apply to spinners or sliders. No word on how long the deal will last, but we've already had to pull 4 phones from our store.

Headed to T-mobile and Cingular

😲 Looks like both GSM carriers will get the "PEBL V6" and the "SLVR V8", since both phones will come in 2 versions. One version will have 850/1800/1900MHz and the other will have 900/1800/1900MHz. Plus, both phone versions have EDGE technology, so T-Mobile and Cingular will benefit. Also, both "PEBL V6" versions are due in the second half(between July and December) of 2005. The "SLVR V8", is suppose to be available in the third quarter(July, August, or September).
Wait, I wasn't aware T-Mobile had EDGE...
