what Bluetooth works well with the M1

what bluetooth are u using with the M1?
The Motorola HS850 or HS700 headsets (the ones with flip out microphones) work really well for regular headsets.

The Spider Bluetooth stereo earphones are excellent for sound quality and range, but they don't get very loud.
Works great for me, but you do lose out turning your head which sucks.

Opera Mini Shuts Down After You Tube Video

I Am Running Opera Mini On My M1 And I Love That I Can Watch You Tube Videos Now. When I Watch Them, The Phone Uses The Media Player. Once Its Over The Opera Browser Has To Be Restarted. Is There Any Way To Have The Phone Stay On The You Tube Web Site?
I wish I could help. Instead I'll ask you a related question since we seem to be among only a few still using this device. My NetFront (Sprint supplied) browser has not been working right for the last month or more. It won't display tables correctly ...

Since the youtube videos don't actually play in the browser, but in Media Player, its equivalent to closing the application.

Unknown error. Sorry for the inconvenience.

This only happens when I go to http://vision.sprintpcs.com I am able to go to other bookmarked pages. Any help with this would be appreciated.

Thanx!
Fixed now. 😁

Flash player problems

While surfing the net I often come across the message "flash content not supported". Yet I cannot find much info about where I can obtain the proper flash player. Does anyone else know how to fix this problem?

Bluetooth and Sprint Music

After reading up on the new unlimited plans, I'm wondering...

Would I be able to hear the music from PowerVision through my stereo bluetooth headphones or would it just come out the speakers?
I had the same question.

I know someone who sells for Sprint as an account representative. Some phones will be able to use bluetooth for the stereo audio, while some won't. You'll always be able to plug in stereo wired speakers/ headphones, but b...

Can't see .JPG files transferred?

I loaded some .JPG files from my PC to the M1 via the mass storage USB. But I can't view the .JPG photos in File Manager. Am I missing something? Please advise. Thx.
I had the same problem. The files are most likely in the wrong aspect ratio. Load a picture taken with your phone onto your computer, then try to match pictures from your computer to the same aspect ratio. Keep in mind that this doesn't mean they h...

Video issues (from a different guy)

My girl sent me a vid from her phone (t-mo) but I can't even open it. i figured it was a different format of clips sent, but can't find any information supporting/discrediting. Help me, help me please!
I think it might be a problem with the way Sprint handles picture/ video mail. I have the same problem if someone sends me a moving image (like a .gif) or if there is sound attached to the message. I can never hear the sound.

How do I make the MP3 play one after another?

It seems like you can't make a Playlist out of the MP3 downloaded from the ur PC. What am I not doing right?
The only way I've been able to play songs one after the other is by putting all the songs in the same folder. Then it will play right through, or shuffle, etc.

Stereo speakers are backward!

LOL. I copied a channel test file to my phone and played it, and the left channel was coming out of the right speaker, and vice versa. Even when you open and close the flip, the speakers do not switch. The only way to listen to music and have the left and right channels be correct is to open the flip and turn the phone around so you are looking at the camera and the external lcd both. Or I guess you could close the flip and turn the phone upside down!

In other news, this also confirms that the M1 speakers ARE INFACT stereo, and not just mono out of two speakers. As if anyone could tell with the speakers so close together though.

In conclusion...LMAO Sanyo.

Probably nobody will read this t...

Blank Grey Screen

hey,
I was so excited to get my new sanyo m1.. i charged it up, and the inside screen doesn't work at all.. it just lights up solid grey, with nothing on it. Did anyone else have this problem? I have to call Sprint tomorrow to get it replaced.

Bummed out,
I keep having a problem with my M1 rebooting when I'm on the internet, using the On-Demand feature, watching a video, listening to music, or using an application. Not sure what causes this. This is the 3rd M1 I've had as my first one constantly rese...

Disable music shop from front keypad?

I hate locking keys (dont ask, I just always have and always will) and quite often I take my phone out my pocket to see 'Application Running' and open it to see my phone ask me if I want to connect to the music shop. I dont want to remove the music shop, nor do I especially dislike it; I just dont use it. Is there anyway I can remove this option from the menu on the front keypad? Or at least set it to default to media player when I hit play? Its just annoying when I try to stealthily check the time in class if I have to open my phone and hit end to see it.
No. But what keys do you need to hit on the outside with the flip closed so often while in standby mode? Readylink/voice record, camera, voice dial, flashlight (volume keys), and media access.....all those things are usually done with the flip open. W...

Text Messages - Please help - any info is better than none....

I am considering buying this phone; however, I send and receive a lot of text messages (3,000 or more a month). I read earlier in the forum that you can only see the last 10 text messages sent.

* Is that right - you can only see the last 10 texts that you sent?
* How many text messages can you select at the same time?
* Also, has anyone else ever gone from a blackberry or pda (keyboard) to this phone and how does it compare in terms of speed to type a message?
* Can you sync your phone to your computer so you won't lose your contacts if something happens to your phone?
Thanks!
Andrea
I may not be much help, but I'll give you my opinion. I don't do much text messaging so I can't tell you the limit of the number of text messages but the number of phone calls in/out retained exceeds ten. As I understand it (haven't tried it) SMS me...

You are correct that this phone only retains 10 outgoing messages, but it does retain 200 incoming messages. You can send SMS messages to 10 recipients at a time. I just switched to this phone from a line of treos (300, 650, and 700p), which I have be...

Maybe I am not understanding what you are asking.......I don't text that much, but I checked my sent folder and it had 53 text messages.....I am sure it will hold more.....my inbox is at 77.
Not sure where you guys are getting your info about the number of texts stored on the M1. It lets you see the last 200 incoming and 180 outgoing sms messages while allowing you to send an sms message to up to 50 people at one time.

m1 Internet Problems

hey guys,
I just picked up an m1 to replace my sanyo 8400. The internet is really slow on this thing.. my 8400 was twice as fast. Is there any kind of preference I'm not setting right? or maybe it's just the network.

Thanks for any input!

I am having a problem with the screen acting funny.
I have it in power save mode and from time to time when i open up the phone my screen saver is gone and when i hit any button i dont see anything on the screen but the actions will work. I have to power cycle in order to actually see something on the screen again...

any one else having this problem. 😡 😡 🤨
haven't used the power save mode. I don't have any need to it last almost 2 days of me using it!
I am having the same issue!!! It seems that it happens after I hang up the phone by closing it.....if I press the END key, I do not have the issue....I called sprint and they have not heard of the issue. The other issue I have is if I have speaker ...

Automatic Internet connection

I recently found out the the M1 automatically connects to the internet and when you try to update the phone, you WILL be charged for internet usage. I've been arguing with Sprint about this issue for several months, and just got it fixed. I ended up getting a $110.00 refund to my account. So if any one is having the same problems, you'll have to put up an IP blocker and also set the phone to disable the Vision system. My phone still tries to connect as I keep getting either an Error message or "Please check your Vision Status" message.
Just a little something to let you know.
I was getting charged for web usage even though I do not use it. Sprint said it does not charge when you update your phone.....yet they cannot explain why I was getting charged. They turned off the internet from sprint's end so I get an err if I try...

I don't want to sound like a moron, but

the headphones that came with my phone don't fit in the headphone jack. Am I stupid? Is there another place I should be plugging them in? I've tried every hole and opening on the phone, lol.
i hope you have figured it out already but if you havent there was also an adapter that came with the phone. so yeah the headphones plug into the adapter then into your phone.
