Cellcom soon to be carrying the device

A midwest regional carrier Cellcom will be carrying the device soon under the name "HTC Desire 4G LTE". Per spec the phone looks to be the same but there is likely to be a lot less of the carrier shovelware (aka. Verizon) but the device may be more locked down.

Am I the only one who

thinks the back of every Incredible device is just plain ugly? I can see some thinking it is cool, I guess, but I just don't like it.
Yes, you are the only one.
The design and finish of the back of every droid incredible phone are just incredible.
(the battery cover on the 4G- LTE is the ugliest among the three; however)

Calendar Expansion

In the Week and Month views, my 2010 Droid Incredible Calendar has useless bars for each day containing an event. You have to open the Day or List view to see what is there. Somewhere I read that Android 4.0 has a pinchable calendar, so I am hoping that between the slightly larger screen and the pinch feature, that I can see a week view with actual data. Does anybody know if that is the case? or will we just have slightly larger bars of uselessness?
I would recommend just buying, or using the free version of the android application Business Calendar. It shows actual appointments when in the week view, it can also handle multiple calendars very well. A much calendaring application than any of ...

Droid Incredible 4G is available for $149.99

The Inc 4G is available now and the subsidized cost is $149.99, not $299 as some thought. I've been using the Inc 2 since last year and I see the new 4G Inc as an incremental upgrade - dual core processor, LTE support, ICS and Sense 4. That's all good, but unfortunately doesn't stand up well against the competition, in particular the
Galaxy S III. For only $50 more the GS III offers a larger screen and faster CPU. Some folks might want the Inc 4G because they don't want a bigger phone, but other than that it's not too appealing at this price point.
Thought folks would be interested to know that the Inc 4G, as an upgrade, can be had for $99 from Amazon Wireless.

App Transfers to New Phone

I have had the original DI for more than two years and have a useful app that does not appear to be available (Grocery List v 1.5). It resides on the DI, not the SD Card. Is it possible to transfer an app if I upgrade to a new DI4?

not much of an upgrade

I have the Incredible 2. There is no major difference to make me spend the cash or waist my time on a 4g device. Its bad enough that verizon wants to kick everyone off there unlimited data plans when there 3g contracts expire. Not to mention the crap being spilled about being able to keep a unlimited 4g data plan if you purchase your next phone outright at astronomical amounts of money. Verizon is doing again what theyve done in the past. They leak information to the public, watch us complain or praise and go from there.

$299?

Smaller screen than one S
Half the internal memory than One S and wow a whopping 50 mah more bigger battery than One S! And Verizon has the audacity to charge $299? For this POS with qHD? They buggin 🙄
omg it will not be $299 when has Verizon ever announced the price????????????
...
I got an e-mail a few days ago saying I would get $100 off if I upgraded now. They probably inflate the price so they can give you "discounts" like that. 😁
