Needed Bigger Improvements

This phone is good and I will buy any imporved version to the 6800 series as it becomes available. However, Nokia could have done much more:

- Go to a higher resolution 208x208 display
- Support attachments (likely an operators issue)
- Add quality CCD 1.3 mp camera
- Go to a series 60 platform
- Multimedia features (stereo sound, mp3, memory)

The 6822 would have been excellent 1 year ago or may be 6 months ago. Now it is a case of too little too late.

The keyboard would still be the major selling point but soon there will be top-notch blackberry phones on the market that would leave it in the dust. Then the question becomes why invest in last year's phone?
Actually this phone isn't bad for people that want to keep tract of email that dont have the funds to fork out for a blackberry.

something could've been better

why the RF and GPRS aren't same as 6230?
class 10 EDGE is a big plus when using as modem (while provider supports)
RS-MMC support

now the LCD and cam are same as 6230, but missing external memory and class 10 EDGE are not good

Much Needed Improvements

I was so dissapointed with that phone that I gave it to a friend of mine. If the improvements to the screen and the camera hold up, I may try this phone again. I'm still a little shocked that Nokia hasn't jumped on the 1.3MP camera bandwagon, especially with this release...
Wow! I used the 6820 for a while, and then bought the 6620. Two days ago my son's 3300 broke, and he started using my old 6820. He and I were just talking about what a great phone this is, except for the horrible display! The 6820 actually takes pr...

The screen was the primary reason my sister went with another phone...to have all those cool features with a blurry screen was just not wort...
