Using phone on Verizon...

... if anyone can get this phone working on Verizon with the headset (required), with 2-way SMS (required), with any web gateway (nice, not required), with dial-up networking (nice, not required), with calendar / contact sync (I know, I'm dreaming), let me know because I have a $100 bill (or Paypal equivalent) for anyone who can make this happen.

From a technical stand point, yes you will be able to get the phone to work. But...(here it comes) like SPCDVZWJeff said, The BREW and JAVA issue will prevent you from using data services on your phone. More importantly there are two more thing...

tethering

Is Sprint going to shoot itself in the foot again by not enabling tethering? Next question: if tethering is enabled, will Sprint shoot itself in the other foot by charging dramatically higher per/MB rates? Sometimes it seems like Sprint is run by people who would never actually use the service themselves....
