Microsoft Delivers Office Apps to Nokia Belle
Nokia and Microsoft today announced the availability of some Microsoft Office applications to smartphones running Nokia Belle. The first set of apps available include OneNote, Document Connection, Lync, and PowerPoint. The applications will be delivered to Belle phones automatically for free. The compatible handsets include the Nokia E7, C7, C6-01, X7, Oro, 700, 701, and 603 stating immediately. The update will be available soon for the Nokia N8, E6, and 500. Microsoft Word and Excel will be added to the free software suite in a future update.

In a recent blog post about smartphone software updates, Nokia called the upcoming Belle update Nokia Belle and in parenthesis said "previously Symbian Belle." The company did not make a formal announcement about a branding change, however.
