RealNetworks today said that it has sold its video codec and a number of patents to Intel for $120 million. The deal allows RealNetworks to continue to use its codec and IP.

Intel to Buy Lantiq to Further Internet of Things
Intel today said it has agreed to purchase Lantiq for an undisclosed sum. Lantiq, which is based in Germany, makes broadband and home connectivity equipment.
