AT&T Intros New Voice Plans for Canada and Mexico
AT&T today introduced new voice options for customers who travel to Canada or Mexico for vacations or other short stays. The AT&T Canada and Mexico Travel Minutes plan offers 50 minutes of talk time for $24.99 per month; 125 minutes for $49.99 per month; 275 minutes for $99.99 per month; or 800 minutes for $199.99 per month. These plans offer per-minute voice rates ranging between $0.39 to $0.79, which are significantly lower than AT&T's normal roaming rates. The plans will be available starting January 22.
Cricket Expands Calling Plans to Central, South America
Cricket Wireless today made more calling and messaging add-on plans available to a greater number of countries throughout Central and South America. For $10 per month, Cricket customers can add Columbia, Costa Rica, and the Dominican Republic to their plan.
Verizon Changes Up Prepaid Plans
Verizon Wireless today announced changes to its prepaid service plans. The entry-level plan includes unlimited talk and text, but no data (WiFi only) for $30 per month.
Verizon Adds Data to Prepaid Plans
Verizon Wireless today refreshed its prepaid service plan options and gave them more flexibility with data allotments. For example, Verizon doubled the data available to the entry-level $45 plan, which now includes 1GB of data each month instead of 500MB.
AT&T's Highest-Paying Customers Gain Mexico/Canada Roaming
AT&T today said some of its customers will soon be able to roam in Mexico and Canada at no extra charge. Customers who subscribe to AT&T's 15 GB Mobile Share plan can text, talk, and surf in Mexico as if they were at home in the U.S.

Cricket Wireless today improved its international offering by adding the ability to make calls and send text messages from Canada and Mexico to the U.S. The change means Cricket customers who travel to Canada and Mexico will be able to stay in touch with family and friends in the U.S.
