Samsung Promises Android 4.0 Update for Galaxy Range
Samsung today announced that it will provide a select number of its Galaxy-branded smartphones and tablets with the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. Samsung said the Galaxy S II and Galaxy Note will receive Android 4.0 during the first quarter of 2012. Other devices expected to be upgraded include the Galaxy S II LTE, Note, R, Tab 10.1, Tab 8.9, Tab 7.7, and Tab 7.0 Plus. Samsung will provide more specifics for each device closer to when the upgrade is ready.

Older Sprint Galaxy Phones Get a Taste of Marshmallow
Sprint is rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow to the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport and Galaxy Note Edge. The update is being pushed in phases, which Sprint expects to complete by May 11 for the S5 Sport and May 2 for the Note Edge.
