T-Mobile Ramps Up Data Speeds in More Markets

T-Mobile USA today announced that it is doubling the speed of its mobile broadband network from 21Mbps to 42Mbps in Bend, Medford and Corvallis, Ore.; Benton Harbor, Mich.; Bloomington, Champaign–Urbana and Springfield, Ill.; Columbus, Ga.; Hagerstown, Md.; Montgomery, Ala; and Yuba City, Calif. In addition to these new 42Mbps markets, T-Mobile is launching 21Mbps service in Decatur and Peoria, Ill.; Evansville, Ind.; Holland and Kalamazoo, Mich.; Santa Barbara, Calif; and State College, Pa. T-Mobile says it covers 180 million Americans in 163 markets with 42Mbps HSPA+, and more than 200 million Americans in 180 markets with 21Mbps HSPA+.

Fantastic.

Sweet now I can get faster 3G speeds when I am in Santa Barbara...But I live in Los Angeles why are we still stuck on HSPDA???? >_>
