Virgin Mobile Running Free 500MB of Data Promotion

Virgin Mobile is running a limited promotion whereby new customers who purchase and activate a Virgin Mobile Broadband2Go device will be eligible for 500MB of free data during their first month of service. Virgin Mobile spokesperson Beth Evegan confirmed the details to FierceWireless, and said that customers must make the purchase by November 15 and activate the device by December 12 in order to qualify. Virgin normally charges $20 per month for 500MB of data. The promotion comes on the heels of Verizon's double-the-data LTE promotion, which runs through the end of the year and offers new and existing customers the opportunity to double their monthly allotment of mobile data.
