AT&T today indicated that it no longer believes its acquisition of T-Mobile will close by March or April of 2012 as originally expected. It now believes the deal will close closer to June or July as it battles the Department of Justice and other lawsuits it is facing over the proposed acquisition. It is currently dealing with the government lawsuit and suits brought by competitors Sprint and C Spire Wireless. The Federal Communications Commission has yet to weigh in on the deal.

wondering about AT&T and Tmobile future and LTE

AT&T battles the Department of Justice and other lawsuits it is facing over the proposed acquisition. AT&T has launched LTE in five markets. I wonder since AT&T says that it needs to acquire T-mobile ASAP so they don't have network problems. Is AT&T putting up LTE networks with only AT&T spectrum signals or T-mobiles as well. And just activate or upgrade their network later on. AT&T has already set up 5 LTE markets. Will this delay stop or slow down their other markets they want to launch LTE in. Maybe AT&T thought they would have already acquired T-mobile before they figured out. "OOps" we already had enough spectrum to run our network.
They have enough spectrum to run their network. Thats all BS what they are saying. Hesse called them out on that, they just arent utiliing it correctly.
