Is It Your Type? Body The Three S's Wi-Fi Sync Performance

Apple's iPhone 4S arrives later than some might have expected it to, but it still manages to impress with it's powerful camera, video camera, browser, and application support. Is anything holding the iPhone 4S back?

I think it is safe to say that if you're an iPhone fan, you already know it. If you aren't, Apple's latest iPhone hopes to convince skeptics that beauty is mostly on the inside, especially since it arrives wearing last year's fashions. If the updated guts of this phone aren't enough to lure you in, Apple tempts you further with Siri, the voice-powered assistant. We asked Siri, should you buy the iPhone 4S? Siri's response was...

Battery life SUCKS.

You go the battery part right. I've had the phone for 4 days and its downright pathetic. averaging 5 calls a day with some texting and this phone is down to 19% after 11 hours. Most of that is standby. Guess a battery case is going to happen sooner than later.

I agree with everything the author has to say, except for one thing.

He talks of the phone being "not for everyone"

It is.

This phone is the greatest phone ever made.

Better Media capabilites than The Amaze 4G

Reading reviews, I found out that the overall performance on the iPhone 4S is better compared to the HTC Amaze 4G (Better camera and media capabilities, etc). I have seen the Amaze and it really amazes. If the camera on the Amaze is already powerful, then the iPhone sounds quite impressive to me.

I will have to consider this as an option since I am a MacBook Pro user. I've never had an iPhone, it might be the right time.
Siri and the Syncing/integration with my laptop are another reason to give it a try... 🤤
Media capabilities would be based on calculations per second by the CPU. As apple has stated, the A5 is a dual core 1 ghz, and the Amaze has a dual core 1.5 Ghz, which makes it a full 1 GHZ faster than the A5 when both cores are being accessed. You t...

The HTC Amaze is a much better phone all the way around. I have a four and checked out 4s and was disappointed in it. After checking HTC out is is better than 4s.

Apple

Does apple let you take the battery out yet? Who cares about itunes? Why not just drag and drop files? Why do you need to jailbreak the phone to use non apple approved software? Why does that void the warranty? It's a 750$ device you're voiding the warranty on. It's features are sub par and the fact it still doesn't do 4g is ridiculous. Calling it 'iphone 4' or 'iphone 4s' only confuses the average consumer who thinks this implies 4g.

They'll add widgets to the next one maybe. One day they'll catch up with google... Oh did I mention the ridiculous rate plans on att and vzw?
Battery: No, but why do you need to pull out the battery on an Android phone? Oh yeah, when you need to swap out a new battery after 4 hours (Thunderbolt) or to fix it after it's frozen up (most Android phones)

iTunes: Either love it or hate it, bu...

Don't know what phone you had!

Every phone I have tried at the stores Lags. I have not seen the blazing speed you talk about. My iPhone 4 works much better. Just me. I OS 5 messed up my phone and had to return to get a new one. It has iOS 4 and I will not be upgrading. I think this sight is not being truthful. The video if you watched closely was colors were in and out. ☚ī¸ Buy what you want I am just telling you my experience.

Iphone 4s social media

I currently have a 3gs. I will be upgrading in November. I have it down to 2 phones. The iphone 4s and the Motorola Atrix. I looked at both at the store but I'm being pulled to the 4S. I have apps on my iPhone that I can not get on android, plus my music. I really don't care that the twitter and facebook integration aren't there. That is something I don't like about android. I see both have there plus and minus's. For me the social media integration is not something I care for. I do use facebook but not twitter. The decision is still in the air, but I like the iphone, it does what I want, how I like it and so far have worked without fail. So as the saying goes, fix it if it isn't broke".

Just Ordered

I just ordered two. We have a 3g model. I'm sure it will be faster and more responsive than our current models. I just wish the new s had a new design. SIGH.....
No offense Larry, but in our generation, we spoke differently to get our point across to businesses when we had wishes that were not given.

This is why Apple succeeds in not giving you that wish you seeked.

You "wish there was a different design...

No offense taken John, except for the "generation" comment. We maybe of the same generation! As I noted in my post, I have a 3g. It's 3 1/2 years old, slow and not as responsive as it should be hence the purchase. I'm sure many people have bought an i...

Ummm didn't I read this review last year?

Just saying
It seems more like a review on the features of iOS than the phone itself (besides the page for Siri and the camera).
...
Unless the phone they reviewed last year had a dual-core processor, a faster graphics card, an 8 mega-pixel camera and a re-vamped antenna system you were probably reading the review for the iPhone 4. Try paying attention.

Just saying.
