U.S. Cellular Scores HTC Hero S, Wildfire S, Flyer Tablet
U.C. Cellular today announced the upcoming availability of three Android devices from HTC. All three are slab-style devices and will reach store shelves in October.
- Hero S: This smartphone sports a 4.0-inch Super LCD display at qHD (540 x 960 pixels) resolution, a 5-megapixel main camera, and 1.3-megapixel user-facing camera. It runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread with HTC Sense. It will cost $199.99 after rebate with a new agreement.
- Wiidfire S: This mid-range Android device was announced earlier this year. It has a 600MHz processor, 3.2-inch touch display with 320 x 480 pixels, 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, and Bluetooth 3.0+HS. It will cost $79.99 after rebate with a new agreement.
Virgin Mobile Lands HTC Wildfire S, LG Optimus Slider
Virgin Mobile USA today announced the addition of two Android handsets to its pre-paid lineup, the HTC Wildfire S, and the LG Optimus Slider. The Wildfire S will be Virgin Mobile's first device from HTC.
